Aether Smithing adds a progression-based smithing system for the Aether, tied to the smithing table added in the mod's supported versions.

What it does

Recipes for the mod are shown through JEI, REI and EMI, so players can look up what a smithing step needs without leaving the game. The mod gives the Aether a smithing path that follows player progression rather than a single fixed opening.

The mod is server required and client optional: the server must run it, while players may leave it out. Files cover game versions 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, with builds for five release versions. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and a data pack version is available for servers. The code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.

The latest files for each loader target 1.21.1, while the Forge build also has a 1.20.1 release. All three were first published and last updated on 2026-09-03.
