1.21.4 BackPort brings Pale Garden content from the 1.21.4 release to the 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 versions, with pale wood, pale moss and pale trees.

What it does

The mod adds the Pale Garden material set to older game versions: pale wood, pale moss, resin brick variants and pale trees that appear in a pale biome during world generation. Because it changes world generation, a new world or a freshly generated chunk is needed to see the new terrain in existing areas.

Builds are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. The Fabric and Forge latest files are version 2.0.0 for 1.20.1, and the NeoForge latest file is version 2.1.0 for 1.21.1. The environment is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and the code is released under the MIT License without being open source.

The author notes that the back port only works on 1.21.1 and 1.20.1. Other versions are not covered by any published file.
