Wither Spawn Fix

by Joespeph

Wither Spawn Fix lets the Wither form when grass, snow layers, flower pots or carpets sit in its spawn space, which vanilla blocks.

FabricForgeNeoForgeServer-side onlyAll rights reserved1.18.2 – 1.21

What it does

Vanilla Wither spawning fails when small blocks such as grass, snow layers, flower pots and carpets occupy the spawn area. This mod removes that obstruction so the boss can be summoned in those spots. Normal spawn rules still apply, so the spawn area must otherwise be clear.

Key features

  1. Obstructing blocks ignored

Grass, snow layers, flower pots and carpets no longer stop a Wither from forming.

  2. Vanilla spawn rules kept

Space requirements and other normal spawn conditions still have to be met.

  3. Server-side operation

Only the server runs the change, so players join without installing anything.

What the author says

This is a simple mod that fixes the annoying issue of grass, snow layers, flower pots, carpets and other small blocks obstructing Wither spawning! (Warning: Normal spawn rules apply. If you're afraid to lose something, don't have them under the Wither when spawning!)
