Warfre's Mob Drops changes which items hostile and passive mobs leave behind, and adds heads, spawn eggs and other trophies to the loot they drop.
What it does
The mod overhauls vanilla drops through a data pack, so mob loot tables are changed rather than replaced by new mobs. Its drops cover a large set of mobs, including variants, and add trophies such as heads and spawn eggs, along with food items like cooked flesh, dirty humid flesh and gilded flesh, endermite flesh and contaminated beef. Some drops are tied to hidden secrets and an easter egg that the author left for players to find.
The mod is needed on the server, since its drops are applied in the world, while players can join without installing it. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the data pack form covers servers that run a data pack instead of a loader. Files cover 12 release versions, 1.21 – 1.21.11, with a build for 1.21.1 as the latest file on every loader. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
