by Icondice

With VexBot installed on a server, bots fight players in PvP across any gamemode, using crossbows, bows, crystals, anchors and maces.

FabricServer-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21 – 26.2

What it does

VexBot adds bot players that take part in PvP fights. Combat coverage spans crossbow and bow fights, crystal-based and anchor-based PvP, wind charge maces, an elytra mace setup and a spear mace style. Cobweb and TnT minecart PvP are optional mechanics that can be switched on or off. The author describes the bots as smart and says they work in any gamemode.

The mod runs on Fabric and on the Paper server platform. Only the server needs it, so players join without installing anything. Files are published for 1.21 – 26.2 across 14 release versions, with 3.0.14+mc26.2 for 26.2 as the latest Fabric file on the beta channel. VexBot is licensed under All rights reserved and is not open source. It was first published on 2026-03-21 and last updated on 2026-10-05.

Key features

  1. Crossbow and bow combat

Bots fight with crossbows and bows, so a PvP round can be decided at range as well as up close.

  2. Crystal and anchor PvP

Bots use end crystal and respawn anchor combat styles during fights.

  3. Mace combat variants

Wind charge macing, elytra mace and spear mace give bots several mace-based attack styles.

  4. Toggleable mechanics

Cobweb and TnT minecart PvP can each be enabled or disabled, so a server can choose which tactics the bots use.

VexBot is published for Fabric, and it is also available for the Paper server platform.

Can the optional mechanics be turned off?

Yes. Cobweb and TnT minecart PvP are listed as toggleable, so a server can enable or disable each one.
