The King Sword
by Xilombo
The King Sword adds the Avaritia sword and a revamped armor set to Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge, with the sword's original mechanics carried over.
What it does
The mod brings the Avaritia sword into 1.20.1 with its original textures and mechanics. Its blade is aimed at living entities and checks their health and whether they are alive or dying, so a hit removes a target that would otherwise resist ordinary damage. Infinite health and damage cancellation do not stop it. A separate armor set is a revamped version of the Infinity Armor, with extra defensive stats and additional protection against removal.
The King Sword installs on Forge and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The mod is for 1.20.1 only, with 1.0.9 as the latest Forge file, published on the beta channel, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Classic sword port
The sword is ported from the original Avaritia and keeps its textures and mechanics in the modern game.
Targeted removal
The blade checks whether a target is alive or dying and removes it, bypassing health and damage cancellation.
Buffed armor set
A revamped Infinity Armor with its own buffs, intended to make the set strong in combat.
Protected gear
The armor and sword include eleven anti-removal mixins, so other mods are less likely to strip their items.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Boss fights
Players who want a sword that ignores ordinary damage limits can use it against tough targets.
Late-game gear
The armor set suits players who have already worked through earlier tiers and want a stronger defensive set.
Who it’s for: Players who enjoy Avaritia-style gear on Forge 1.20.1 and server owners who want an optional high-tier weapon on a shared world.

What the author says
This mod isn’t just a simple collection of "OP" gear—it is the absolute authority on power. I have brought a faithful port of the original Avaritia (1.7.10) to modern Minecraft, but the crown jewel of this mod is the The King Sword.
