[TACZ] Resource Gathering
[TACZ] Resource Gathering adds four overworld ores that give materials used by the gun crafting recipes of the gun mod it was made for, so players can gather them faster.
What it does
Four ores are added to the overworld. Mining each one yields a material: Quartz gives nether quartz, Sulfur gives sulfur dust, Magnesium gives blaze powder, and Silicon Carbide gives silicon carbide. The ores are meant to help players collect gun-related resources without travelling far.
The materials feed into recipes. Sulfur combined with charcoal makes gunpowder at a crafting table, charcoal comes from placing a wood log in a campfire, Blaze powder joins a crafting table recipe for blaze rods, and smelting Silicon Carbide in a blast furnace turns netherite scrap into a usable ingot. The mod was created for a modpack based on the Apocalypse Remnants Earth setting.
The mod is published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with the 1.0.4 file dated 2026-02-09. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.
