Sweeper Maid
Sweeper Maid is a server-side optimization mod that periodically collects dropped items and selected entities into a temporary dustbin.
What it does
At regular intervals the mod gathers all dropped items on the world and moves them into a 54-slot dustbin. Arrows, including spectral arrows, can be swept as well, which reduces the entity count a server has to process. Items stay in the dustbin only for a limited time, and the dustbin opens with the command /sweepermaid dustbin, whose permission level is set in the configuration.
The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20 – 1.20.6 across seven release versions, and is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, so the code is open source. Only the server needs it, and players can join without installing anything.
