Summoner gives players three staffs that call minions to fight beside them, each staff summoning a different kind of mob.
What it does
Three staffs are added: a Spider Staff, a Zombie Staff and a Ghast Staff. Each one summons a set of allied mobs that attack alongside the player, with the Ghast Staff bringing a ballista-style minion that fires quickly at enemies. The staffs are tools in the equipment category, so they are used like weapons rather than placed as blocks.
The mod is a Forge addon for Minecraft 1.20.1 and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License, and the code is not open source. Only the 1.20.1 game version has files, with the latest build 1.0.0 dated 2024-10-05, the same day as the first release.
