Slashblade Murasame is a Forge addon for Slashblade:Resharped that adds a unique blade found in a shrine in cherry grove biomes.

What it does

The addon adds a single blade, Meito「murasamemaru」, which can be found in a shrine that generates only in cherry grove biomes. Each stage of the blade has its own requirements, and once Meito is obtained it can be evolved further into Shinto「murasamemaru」. The author describes the progression as covering experience level, kill counts, proudsoul totals and a few other conditions, and notes that the blade is built on top of Slashblade:Resharped, which must be installed alongside it.

When the evolved blade is held in hand, the spirit of the blade called Murasame stays close to the player, and several voices recorded for the blade play at different moments. The author states that the spirit has no practical effect on gameplay. The addon runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.12.2 and 1.20.1, with 1.1.4-fix for 1.20.1 as the latest file, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Yes. The addon is written for Slashblade:Resharped and needs it installed on the same loader. Both mods must run on client and server.

Which versions does the addon support?

Forge files are published for 1.12.2 and 1.20.1. The latest file is 1.1.4-fix for 1.20.1, released on 2026-02-27. The author tested the addon on Forge 47.4.0 with Slashblade:Resharped 0.6.0.
