Runic Items
by Mindoth
Runic Items adds rare weapons, boots and enchantments to Forge, many of them found in the world rather than crafted.
What it does
Equipment from the mod turns up in the world. Archer Boots appear in buried treasure chests, Fighter Boots sometimes drop from slain Ravagers, and Wizard Boots can be obtained by trading with Cleric villagers. Wearing Archer Boots raises arrow damage, Fighter Boots raise physical melee damage, and Wizard Boots raise magic damage. A Mallet is wielded by some Wither Skeletons and can also drop when they are killed; it is a slow sword that deals 9 damage.
Boots crafted together with a Nether Star are upgraded and deal extra damage. Some items, enchantments and weapons are unique to the mod. Drop chances are set in a config file, and the values for some damage bonuses can be tweaked there as well. The mod requires ShadowizardLib to run. Files exist for 1.16.5 only, and the code is closed: the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Client and server both need it, so every player on a server running it must install it too.

Crafting boots with a Nether Star yields an upgraded pair with a larger damage bonus.
