Rocket Boots II is a NeoForge transportation mod that gives the player boots with three flight modes, Roam, Hover and Traverse, for travel across terrain.
What it does
Rocket Boots II reworks flying with boots that offer three modes. Roam mode carries the wearer forward at a chosen height and follows the terrain, which suits covering long distances while looking over the landscape. Hover mode keeps the player steady in mid-air with manual movement controls, useful for building or for holding a position. Traverse mode moves along the ground and adds an upward boost to climb steep hills.
Speed boosting makes fast travel in a chosen direction more effective and leaves a trail behind the wearer for a short time. Height control has adjustable levels, and the fuel is brewed from magma cream and dragon's breath bottles. A reusable fuel canister restores up to 100% of the fuel, and a control panel shows the boots' status. The mod requires playerAnimator on NeoForge. Files target 1.21.1 only, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
