With Road Stuff installed, players can lay asphalt, concrete and slope roads in the world, using blocks crafted from bitumen and sand.

What it does

Road Stuff adds road blocks and items for building roads in the world. Bitumen ore deposits generate underground, and bitumen is one of the ingredients for asphalt blocks, which are crafted with sand, gravel, bitumen and concrete blocks. Slope blocks are made from two asphalt or concrete blocks, so a road can be given smooth transitions.

The mod requires Mapper Base, which must be installed alongside it. Road Stuff runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with its source code and issue tracker public. The files target Forge only, for 12 release versions 1.7.10 – 1.19.2, and 7.0.1 for 1.19.2 is the latest file, published on 2023-06-18.

    Bitumen ore generates in the world and gives the raw material used by the road blocks.

    Asphalt blocks are crafted from sand, gravel, bitumen and concrete, and placed to build roads.

    Two asphalt or concrete blocks craft a slope block, which helps roads meet changes in terrain.

  4. Paintbrush and paint buckets

    A paintbrush is crafted from sticks and wool in the 1.17 and newer versions, and paint buckets are filled with yellow or white dye for road markings.

Files cover 1.7.10 – 1.19.2 in 12 release versions. Older versions such as 1.14.3 and 1.15.2 have their own builds, but the mod is not updated beyond 1.19.2 in this listing.
