Risk of Rain Mobs
by ElToxiColo
Risk of Rain Mobs brings creatures from the Risk of Rain game series into Minecraft, adding Lemurians, Stone Golems, Beetles, Wisps and a Gunner Drone to the world.
What it does
Each mob keeps the behavior it has in the source game. Lemurians spit fireballs from range and then run straight at their target to finish with a melee attack. Stone Golems fire a slow charging laser that tracks the target at range and switch to slamming their fists together when the player is close. Beetles have one attack, a headbutt, and wander by hopping until they spot a player. Wisps are constant flames without a body, with a fire mask at their center where the flames erupt, and they can concentrate heat into a long-range blast.
The Gunner Drone is bought with gold and then follows its owner at a short distance, shooting nearby targets in bursts of four shots with a two-second cooldown. It takes smoking damage that is repaired with iron. The Gunner Turret is a stationary variant that supports the player with more firepower in exchange for losing free movement, firing 40 shots before reloading for two seconds.
The mod is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is open source under the MIT License and published for Forge, with builds covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 and the latest file, 1.2.1, made for 1.21.1.
