RailSignals

by DerpyEnteDE

RailSignals adds German railway signal blocks and a signal controller to Forge for 1.19.2, and it can be driven by redstone.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.19.2

What it does

Players who run train or railway content on a Forge 1.19.2 setup can place German signal types from the mod: Hv-Signals, Vr-Signals, Ne-Signals and Block-Signals. The signal controller links these signals together, and signals can also be switched remotely through redstone, so a track layout can respond to logic built around it.

The mod is one of the signal sets developed by its author, who began it as a first modding project. It is listed for Transportation, with Decoration, Technology, Game mechanics, Management and Utility as secondary categories. Files target 1.19.2 only and load on Forge. Both the server and every player must run the mod, since it works on the client and the server together.

Release 0.2 for 1.19.2 is an alpha build, published on 2023-07-23 after the first version of 2023-07-22. The author notes that the mod is still in development and that further signal features and remote control options are planned. Its control system is separate from other signal mods, and compatibility requests from other mod authors are noted in the description.

Key features

  1. German signal types

Hv-Signals, Vr-Signals, Ne-Signals and Block-Signals are included as placeable railway signals.

  2. Signal controller

A controller block connects signals so they can be managed from one place.

  3. Redstone control

Signals can be switched with redstone, which allows connection to other circuits and railway logic.

  4. Separate control system

Signal control runs on its own system rather than depending on another signal mod's logic.
