Radial Macros

by Blast

Radial Macros lets players hold a key and pick a command from a radial menu on the client, with several wheels bound to different keys.

What it does

Each wheel is a radial menu of slices, and each slice runs a configurable command when the player releases the key over it. Icons can be set per macro so that a slice is simple to find. Single-key macros skip the wheel and run one command immediately, and a tap of the hotkey mouse button opens the menu so it pops up where the cursor is.

Wheels and groups are configured in game through Minecraft-style screens. Each slice can send chat text, copy text to the clipboard, or run a command, and slices can be shown only when conditions hold, such as the player being online or the server IP matching a value. Variables use Minecraft's mappings, and the mod's wiki documents their usage.

Radial Macros is a Fabric client mod released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, so the code is open source and can be reused freely. It is published for 1.21.8 and 26.2, with version 1.1.0 for 26.2 as the latest file. Only the client needs it, so players can join servers without installing anything extra.

Key features

  1. Multiple wheels and groups

Different wheels can be bound to different keys, so a player can keep separate sets of commands ready.

  2. Single-key macros

A macro group can be set to run its command at once on a key press, without opening a wheel.

  3. Conditional slices

Individual options can appear only when conditions match, for example when the player is on a given server.

  4. Chat and clipboard actions

Slices can send a chat message, copy text to the clipboard or run a command, which suits repeated chat messages.

Use cases

Repeated chat messages

A player can put common chat lines on a wheel and send one by releasing the key over its slice.

Server-specific shortcuts

Conditional slices let a player show certain commands only while connected to a particular server.

Who it’s for: Players who run the same commands or chat lines often, and players who want a keyboard-driven command menu without installing anything on the server.
