Quran Discs
by Fafiew
Quran Discs adds more than 30 playable music discs to Minecraft, each carrying a recitation of a surah from the Quran read by Mishary Al Afasy.
What it does
The discs are ordinary jukebox items, so a player places one into a jukebox and the recitation plays from that block. The included surahs include Al-Fatihah, An-Nas, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Masad and An-Nasr, with more discs beyond these. Each recitation is a separate disc that can be collected and played on its own.
Servers that run it need every player to install it too. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.6 and 1.21.1. The latest files are version 1.6 for 1.20.1 on Forge and version 1.6 for 1.21.1 on NeoForge, both dated 2025-03-05. The code is under the Apache License 2.0 and is not open source.
Key features
Surah recitations on discs
Each disc holds one surah recitation, so a jukebox plays the chosen chapter of the Quran.
Over 30 discs
The mod adds more than 30 music discs, covering a range of surahs beyond the first few listed.
Jukebox playback
Discs are played through the vanilla jukebox, so no new block or screen is needed to hear them.
Recitations by Mishary Al Afasy
The recitations are performed by Mishary Al Afasy, and each disc keeps its own track.

Use cases
Background audio in a base
A player who wants calm recitations in a build can place a disc in a jukebox near the work area.
Server music
Server owners can place discs in jukeboxes around a spawn or hub so every player hears the same recitation.
Who it’s for: Players who want surah recitations as in-game music, and server owners who add jukebox music to a shared world. Both the server and each player need the mod for the discs to play in multiplayer.
