Premium Wood is a Forge and NeoForge world generation mod that adds several tree types with their own logs, leaves and wood block sets.

What it does

The mod adds trees that generate naturally in the world, along with a full set of simple wood blocks for each type: planks, logs, stairs, slabs, fences, gates, doors, trapdoors, pressure plates and buttons. Crafting recipes for these items are included, so players can build with the new woods in survival. Several of the trees take their place in biomes that players already explore.

The original mod, which this version ports, fixed oak and birch trees and added colored variants of planks and logs without adding new block IDs. This update keeps the tree types, adds further colors and drops the earlier changes to existing trees. It requires Programmer Art, a built-in mod that needs an extra installation step. Premium Wood runs on client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is published for Forge and NeoForge only. Files cover 8 release versions, 1.19.4 – 26.1.2, and the latest Forge file is 1.5.0 for 1.19.4, while the latest NeoForge file is 1.7.0 for 26.1.2.

Key features

  1. Maple, Tiger and Willow trees

    Maple, Tiger and Willow trees generate in the world, each with its own leaves and log colors.

  2. Silverbell and Purple Heart trees

    Silverbell trees have a bright green canopy dotted with pale blossoms, and Purple Heart trees show purple inside their bark.

  3. Apple trees with regrowth

    Apples can be picked from apple leaf blocks and grow back after a short time.

  4. Full wood block sets

    Each wood type comes with planks, logs, stairs, slabs, fences, gates, doors, trapdoors, pressure plates and buttons.
