Players who keep resource packs in a folder can use PacksMC to bring packs from the PacksMC site straight into the Minecraft resource pack folder.

What it does

PacksMC handles the work of getting resource packs into the game, so a pack reaches the resource pack folder without manual file management. Packs can be accessed quickly and organized once they are in place, including favorites that stay close at hand. The mod runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it and players join without installing anything.
