Create: Overbalanced is a NeoForge datapack for 1.21.1 that replaces many Create recipes with new ones, so automation chains can run longer than before.

What it does

The pack changes crafting and processing recipes in the Create mod, so more steps become possible in a machine chain and a single coal or diamond no longer ends a recipe tree. Recipes are written to be more involved and balanced, and the pack adds Magama blocks, Blaze cakes and brass, copper and zinc materials to the available progression. Updates have reintroduced some recipes for deepslate lapis and aimed to bring back items such as Refined Radiance and Shadow Steel.

The datapack is aimed at players who find the default Create recipes too short and want a deeper economy of resources. It depends on Create, which must be installed alongside it on NeoForge for the recipe changes to apply. The mod is published only for 1.21.1 as a NeoForge file and as a data pack for server platforms. Servers must run it, while players may leave it out. Released under the MIT License, it is not open source.

    Recipes are rewritten so that Create processing takes more steps, with intermediate materials along the way.
