Omotions
by SpaceXVI
Omotions brings Omori's emotion system into Minecraft, giving entities one of five emotions that change how they fight.
What it does
Each entity can carry one of five emotions: Happy, Sad, Angry, Neutral and Afraid. An emotion rises through one to three stages, and a higher stage makes its effects more severe. The mod keeps Omori's original values largely unchanged, and the project's wiki page covers the source material in more detail.
Emotions have a rock-paper-scissors style of advantage. Happy holds the edge over Angry, Angry holds it over Sad, and Sad holds it over Happy. An entity with the advantage deals more damage based on its prey's emotion stage, while the disadvantaged side deals less. Neutral has no advantage over others and no entity holds one over it, so its attacks stay at normal strength.
Omotions is published for Forge only, across the 1.19 – 1.19.2 range, with 0.1.0 for 1.19.2 as the latest file. It is needed on client and server, so the server and every player must run it. The code is not open source; the project is released under All rights reserved, and bug reports go to the public issue tracker.
