Obsidian & Crying Obsidian Expansion adds stairs, slabs, fences, doors, trapdoors, panes, buttons and pressure plates for both obsidian blocks, along with glowing Crying Obsidian variants.

What it does

Obsidian and Crying Obsidian gain a full set of building blocks: stairs, slabs, fences, buttons, doors, trapdoors, panes and pressure plates. Builders who used to be limited to plain obsidian blocks can now shape walls, roofs and thresholds in more detail, which suits dark, Nether-inspired structures.

Crying Obsidian variants glow, so a portal room, fortress, dungeon or shrine can get atmosphere without extra light sources. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, across 16 release versions 1.17.1 – 26.2, and both the server and every player need it. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
