No Fall Damage

by VoidCrafter

No Fall Damage stops players from taking harm when they land after a drop, so jumps from high places cost nothing.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalMIT License1.21.5 – 1.21.9

What it does

No Fall Damage removes fall damage for players, so a long drop or a jump from a high place no longer reduces health. The mod is light on resources and is used in single-player worlds as well as on multiplayer servers. A datapack version is also available, which removes fall damage without installing a mod on the server.

The mod suits parkour maps, skyblock islands and survival worlds where height changes are common and falls are an unwanted obstacle. Servers that want fall damage back can remove the mod. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering game versions 1.21.5 – 1.21.9. The server must run the mod for it to take effect, while players can leave it out. The code is under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Fall damage removed

Players take no health damage from falls of any height, so high jumps and drops are harmless.

  2. Single-player and multiplayer

The removal works in both single-player worlds and on multiplayer servers.

  3. Datapack alternative

A datapack version removes fall damage without adding a mod, for worlds that load datapacks.

  4. Lightweight install

The mod adds little overhead and needs only a single file to take effect on a server or client.

Who it’s for: Server owners who want to remove fall damage for parkour, skyblock or survival servers, and players who run single-player worlds with the same change.
