No Air Resistence

No Air Resistence removes air drag from movement, so falls, jumps and spear lunges carry farther in the air.

What it does

The mod removes air resistance from the game, so a player keeps more speed while airborne. Bunny hopping becomes faster, and a spear lunge carries a player farther when used in midair. Players also get finer control over where a fall lands, while mobs that attack from the air become more dangerous.

Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing it. Creative and spectator flight keep their default control, which is disabled in this build. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and a data pack build is also available, across 26.2 and 26.3.

    Jumps and falls keep the horizontal speed a player has, instead of losing it to air drag.

  2. Faster bunny hopping

    Repeated jumps build up speed quickly, so bunny hopping covers ground much faster.

  3. Farther spear lunges

    A spear lunge used in midair carries the player a longer distance than on the ground.

  4. Steering a fall

    Players can adjust the direction of a fall, which gives more control over the landing spot.

  5. Stronger aerial mobs

    Mobs that attack from the air deal more damage, so flying threats are harder to survive.

No. Only the server needs the mod, and players can join without it, since clients can run without it while the server still runs it.
