New XEnchant
by MrLoLf
New XEnchant removes the usual limits on the vanilla /enchant command, so players can apply any enchantment at any level.
What it does
Once installed, the command accepts enchantments that the default version refuses, and it lets a level be set well beyond the usual maximum. Enchantments can be applied to any item, and the mod changes how levels appear, displaying them as Roman numerals up to 1000 (M). Levels set to 0 are also accepted, with a reduced restriction on very high values. It runs on the client and the server, so both sides need the mod. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt, for 10 game versions 1.18 – 1.20.1, and the code is released under the MIT License, so it is open source.
Key features
Unrestricted enchant command
The command accepts enchantments without the default restrictions, including high levels such as 99.
Any item, any enchantment
Enchantments can be applied to items they would not normally fit, which the default command does not allow.
Roman numeral levels
Enchantment levels are shown as Roman numerals, up to 1000 (M), so high levels remain readable.
