Murdervasion adds portal invasions to Minecraft Forge 1.20.1, where Zombie Miners pour out of gateways and armed Murder Miners fight back.
What it does
Strange portals open at random across the world, most often near players who are active. A portal can release a wave of hostile Zombie Miners, and a second portal may open to deploy a squad of armed Murder Miners that clash with the invaders. Later portals can bring reinforcements of either side, so an encounter may turn into a fight between both.
The mod is a fan-made combat piece inspired by the Murder Miners games, and it is built for survival play and multiplayer servers. It is published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with one file dated 2026-07-25. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code and assets are under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which means the work is not open source.

Portals release waves of Zombie Miners that attack living creatures without mercy, with larger waves following a portal invasion.
Armed Murder Miner squads
Allied miners carry the mod's firearms, advance across the battlefield, crouch, reload and shield themselves with a rechargeable energy shield.
Firearms
The Murder Pistol, Murder Shotgun, Murder Rocket Launcher and Sniper Rifle are the weapons used by the squads.
Miner customization
A Miner Customizer changes a Murder Miner's helmet and armor colors, and a sneak right-click saves the design as a reusable preset applied to another miner.
