More Minecarts
More Minecarts adds new minecart types to the Forge loader, including emerald, diamond, copper and gold variants, each with its own function on the rails.
What it does
The mod adds several new minecart types for Forge, among them an Emerald Minecart, a Diamond Minecart, a Copper Minecart and a Gold Minecart. Each cart is placed and ridden like the vanilla minecart, and the new types are meant for transport rails and adventure travel.
Some carts have special abilities. The Redstone Minecart, for example, can power a powered rail placed underneath it. The mod works on client and server, so both sides need it for the carts to behave the same in multiplayer. Files cover six releases, and the latest file, 1.1 for 1.20.6, was published on 2025-06-27. The code is released under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.
