Mofu's subnauticraft brings the leviathan creatures of Subnautica into Minecraft, starting with a reaper mob, for Forge on 1.20.1.

What it does

A reaper mob spawns in most deep ocean biomes. The mob follows its own AI and attacks players who come close, with a jumpscare effect when a player's health drops low enough. The mod is a small project that the author plans to extend toward more leviathans from the first game.

A craftable Seamoth statue serves as a trophy, obtained by defeating the reaper. A command for changing the mob's true size is included, but its effect cannot be undone, and the lock state can be toggled, so server owners should use it with care. The author asks for bug reports and comments to guide further work.

Installation needs Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Builds are published for 1.20.1 only, with 1.0.1 as the latest file, and the code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
