MLG with meme songs is a client-side Fabric mod that plays a custom comedic track when a player lands a clutch, a high fall negated at the last moment.
What it does
The mod tracks the player's movement and fall distance in real time. A clutch becomes possible from a fall of at least 15 blocks, and when the player uses one successfully the fall damage is negated and a custom 15-second soundtrack replaces the default game audio as the reward for a perfect landing.
Supported clutch mechanics include landing in water placed with a bucket, mounting boats, horses or other rideable vehicles, and landing on soft surfaces that cushion the fall. Sliding honey blocks are tracked with precise collision checks, and grabbing ladders, vines or weeping vines in mid-air also saves the player.
The mod is built directly on Fabric API and uses targeted block queries, so it adds no measurable frame-rate cost or background memory use. It fits into a modpack without changes to other systems. Only the client needs it, and the mod is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source.
