mineral backpacks
by ArthurOrsi
Mineral Backpacks adds wearable storage items crafted from Minecraft materials, so players can carry more while mining, exploring and traveling.
What it does
Each material sets a storage tier, and higher tiers hold more items. Crafting starts with simple leather packs and moves toward stronger mineral packs as a player progresses. Ironiamite is a separate top-tier backpack with a black and cyan look.
The mod targets long trips: mining runs, cave exploration, building projects and journeys across large distances, where the inventory fills with ores, blocks, tools, food and loot. A backpack is worn on the back and carried as gear rather than occupying the hotbar. Its models are blocky 3D shapes in the vanilla style, with colors and designs that match the material.
Mineral Backpacks is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 11 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.2. Client and server both need the mod. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Material-based tiers
Leather, coal, copper, iron, gold, emerald, diamond and netherite each produce a backpack with its own storage size.
Extra inventory space
Each backpack adds slots beyond the player's inventory, and a better material gives a larger backpack.
Worn on the back
Backpacks are equipped in the back slot, so the player keeps the hotbar free while carrying extra items.
Ironiamite backpack
Ironiamite is the highest tier, a black and cyan backpack added by the mod and placed above netherite.
