middle-click-fix

by SplashAni

Middle-click Fix corrects a long-standing Minecraft bug in which middle-clicking a block does not pick it in the creative inventory.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.1 – 1.21.4

What it does

The bug caused middle-click actions to be inconsistent: a click sometimes copied the block type and sometimes did nothing, so players could not reliably pick a block or interact with the creative inventory as intended. The fix makes middle-click actions consistently recognized, so picking blocks works each time. Middle-click Fix is client-side only, so a server does not need it and players can join without installing it. It is published for Fabric on 1.21.1 – 1.21.4, and the code is not open source, under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Reliable block picking

Middle-clicking a block copies it to the hotbar as intended, instead of failing at random.

  2. Creative inventory actions

Middle-click actions register in the creative inventory, so picked blocks can be used right away.

  3. Consistent click handling

Middle-click input is recognized on every attempt, which removes the inconsistency players reported.
