KebabAntiCheat
by Duque
KebabAntiCheat is a Fabric client mod that reports a player's loaded mods to a server running its companion plugin.
What it does
When a player joins a server, the mod passes the names of its loaded mods to the KebabAntiCheat server plugin. The plugin matches that list against the mods the server owner has flagged, and it decides on any alert or penalty. The client side only reports and enforces nothing.
The mod suits closed survival roleplay servers and private communities that want to cut down on mods giving an unfair edge, such as x-ray minimaps, health bars, freecam, macros and hack clients. It is described as lightweight and simple, and it needs Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Builds exist for game versions 1.21.4 – 1.21.11, with 3.0.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file, released on 2026-08-17. It is installed on the player's side alone, so servers need nothing. The mod is All rights reserved and is not open source.
Key features
Mod list reporting
On joining, the client sends the list of its loaded mods to the companion server plugin.
Flagged mod matching
The server plugin checks the reported list against mods the owner configured as forbidden or suspicious.
Server-owned penalties
Alerts and penalties are produced on the server, so the client never removes or punishes anything itself.
