Julio's Boots
by jpalacio0x
Julio's Boots lets players fly by double-pressing Space while wearing a pair of boots crafted from Netherite Boots and Elytra in the crafting grid.
What it does
The boots occupy the feet slot and add a flight mode to survival play. A double press of Space toggles flight, and the standard creative flight controls apply while it is active. The recipe combines Netherite Boots with an Elytra in the crafting grid, so the item is reached through normal progression rather than a command.
The mod is based on WingedSandals by adil192, which it builds on for its boot behavior. Julio's Boots requires Fabric and is open source under the MIT License. The server and every player need the mod installed. Builds cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.11, with 2.3.0+1.21.11 as the latest file for 1.21.11, released on 2026-02-05.
Key features
Flight from boots
Equipping the boots in the feet slot gives the wearer a flight mode while they stay in survival.
Double-press toggle
Pressing Space twice switches flight on or off, and the standard creative flight controls apply.
Crafted recipe
The boots are made from Netherite Boots and an Elytra in the crafting grid, placing them late in progression.
Double-jump option
Equipping the boots also grants a double jump, so the item works as a lighter way to move before full flight.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Exploring large worlds
Players who cross wide terrain can use the boots to move over mountains, water and built structures without a separate vehicle.
Server travel
On a server that runs the mod, players can reach distant builds quickly, as the mod needs to be installed on both sides.
Who it’s for: The mod suits players on Fabric who want flight from equipment rather than from commands or creative mode, and server owners who want to offer the same boots to every player.
