Iron Coals adds a tiered set of coal items, each worth a fixed multiple of regular coal as fuel, from Iron Coal up to Aeon Coal.

What it does

The mod extends the vanilla coal line with five tiers. Each tier burns for a fixed multiple of regular coal: Iron Coal is worth more than regular coal, Gold Coal and Diamond Coal scale up further, Emerald Coal goes higher still, and Netherite Coal is worth 480.0 times regular coal, so one Netherite Coal equals 7680 regular coal items in a furnace or smelter.

Aeon Coal is a separate top tier that the author describes as lasting forever. Its recipe is the costly part of the line, and the tiers are meant for players who want to cut down on fuel handling in long-running factories and smelting setups. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20 – 1.21.11, and it is open source under the MIT License. Both client and server need it.
