HBM BaseCenter
by undaub
HBM BaseCenter is a Forge team and war mod for Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod, adding team chat, colored team names and protected base blocks to 1.7.10 servers.
What it does
The mod hosts team wars built around the BaseCenter block from Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod. Players form teams, join them with commands, and fight over bases; a team chat channel can be switched on or off per player. Friendly fire between teammates is disabled, and team names appear in colors so allies can be told apart during a fight.
A BaseCenter that drops below a set health threshold becomes temporarily immune to damage, shown by a blue health bar, and only Nuclear Tech nuclear blasts still hurt it. Players who leave combat are handled by a combat logging rule that drops their items, and players without a team are kept from joining the server or entering a BaseCenter. Several settings let the server owner change which damage types harm BaseCenters.
Installation requires UniMixins on Forge. Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod is optional but needed for the war content. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The Forge file for 1.7.10 was published on 2026-02-23 under the Apache License 2.0, and the code is not open source.
Key features
Team chat and team names
Each team gets its own chat channel, which players can toggle on or off, and team names are shown in colors.
Protected bases
Friendly fire is disabled, and a BaseCenter that reaches a low health threshold becomes temporarily immune to damage.
Combat logging
Leaving a fight drops the player's items, which discourages logging out during a war.
Configurable damage
Server owners can choose which damage types can harm BaseCenters and keep players without a team from joining.
