Happy Ghast / Ghastlings
Happy Ghast / Ghastlings adds a passive ghast that players can ride and a Dried Ghast block that hatches baby ghastlings.
What it does
The Happy Ghast is a new passive mob. It can be made to carry riders, and up to four players can stand on one at a time. A harness is crafted by the player and is used to make the ghast move, which takes holding snowballs. Players craft the harness themselves, so the ride is available early in a survival world.
A new Dried Ghast block is crafted from one ghast tear, six bone blocks and placed water. Placed in water, a ghast slowly turns happy after about twenty minutes and hatches a ghastling. Happy Ghast / Ghastlings is a NeoForge mod for 1.21.4 and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. It runs on client and server, meaning the server and every player need it.
Key features
Rideable ghasts
Happy Ghasts can carry up to four players, who ride them by standing on the mob.
Crafted harness
A harness made from two glass, one wool and three leather steers the ghast when players hold snowballs.
Dried Ghast block
The block is crafted from one ghast tear and six bone blocks, then placed in water to start the transformation.
Ghastling hatching
A ghast in water turns happy after about twenty minutes and hatches a ghastling.
