Garlic's Snails

by GarlicMarlic

Garlic's Snails adds small, pesky Snail mobs that eat crops and some flowers, and that can be bred, tamed into a totem drop and killed on contact.

NeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.21.1

What it does

Snails wander the world and seek out crops, dandelions and torchflowers to eat. After a snail eats a crop, there is a 10% chance it drops a slimeball. Snails are bred with carrots, beetroots or bone meal, and the offspring is a baby called a Snailet. Body colors are tan, green or red, shell colors are brown, mustard or maroon, and sizes vary slightly, from a little larger to a little smaller. A snail can be summoned, and summoning one gives a Snail Totem of Undying.

The mod is published for NeoForge only, for Minecraft 1.21.1, and its code is released under the MIT License without being open source. It needs to be installed on both the client and the server, so the server and every player must run it. The author describes the mod as a smaller-scale take on Gastropod Galore, which aims to bring some of that mod's features in a simpler form.
