VRRW Overworld / Foliage and Trees changes the trees, grass, flowers and plant models of the Overworld on NeoForge 1.21.1, with denser and more detailed foliage.
What it does
Tree generation is redesigned, and generated trees can be harvested for wood. Grass and plant generation are replaced with new flowers and vegetation, and cacti and nettles behave interactively. Mushroom fields get new visuals, and additional rocks and natural surface details are added. Some plants use rounded, unusual model shapes, and the bee-related generation and dripstone interactions are changed as well.
The mod keeps the texture style of vanilla Minecraft and is playable with or without a VR headset. It runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it installed. Builds exist for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, with 5.0 for 1.21.1 as the latest file, released on 2026-10-14. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
