Flight Potion

Flight Potion lets a player fly for a short time after drinking the potion, with brewing recipes and an Elytra upgrade that adds flight to the chest slot.
What it does
Drinking a Flight Potion grants flight for a limited time, and the same brew family includes a Levitation variant. Brewing starts from an Awkward Potion made with Magic Powder, which is itself crafted from Strange Dust, a Ghast Tear, Redstone and Glowstone. Tipped arrows can carry the potion types as well, so flight effects are not limited to drinking.
Flight also reaches equipment. Once a chest armor piece carries the Wings Upgrade Smithing Template, it fills the same slot as an Elytra and gives the wearer flight until its durability is spent, while Magic Ingots restore worn wings. Strange Dust Ore appears in lower levels of the world, including a Deepslate variant, and Magic Alloy Blocks are crafted from nine Magic Ingots. The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.12.2 – 1.21.1, and runs on client and server. It is open source under the MIT License, and the code is hosted with a public issue tracker.
