ForgeGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.7.10

What it does

Sounds play when a player interacts with items in the inventory, crafts, types in chat or search fields, drops items, switches hotbar slots, or opens and closes GUIs such as chests and machines. The mod is aimed at players who want the game to feel more responsive during play, and it was made for use with GregTech New Horizons.

Which sounds play and when is set in a configuration file, where conditional rules define what plays for which items and actions. Flair requires GTNH Lib and UniMixins to run. It is published for Forge only, for 1.7.10, and it is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly.

Key features

  1. Interface sounds

Sounds are added to UI actions, including opening and closing GUIs and moving items in an inventory.

  2. Hotbar and item actions

Switching hotbar slots and dropping items each trigger their own sound.

  3. Chat and search typing

Typing in chat and in search fields produces sound feedback.

  4. Rule-based configuration

The config file lets players choose which sounds play for which items, using conditional rules.

Use cases

Recording gameplay

Who it’s for: The mod suits players on GregTech New Horizons who want interface sounds in their game, and players recording or editing videos of the modpack.
