What it does

The mod's goal is to give a world simple life, filling otherwise empty landscapes with citizens that look like they belong to towns. Each citizen is a living figure rather than a placeholder, and the mod links citizens to a keep area that serves as their home base.

Citizens come in more than thirty variations across several species, including a Tiefling icon and additional fantasy races. Some characters, such as a grumpy, bald gnome, defend themselves when attacked. A citizen can also be summoned through a spawn egg, which is crafted with redstone and placed anywhere in the world. The mod runs on Fabric, requires Fabric API, and is published for 1.20 – 1.20.2 with 0.0.1 as the latest Fabric file.

Key features

  1. Over thirty species variations

More than thirty variations across several species give towns a wider mix of appearances than vanilla villagers.

  2. Custom animations

Citizens use animations written for the mod, so their movement differs from standard villager behavior.

  3. Keep area linking

Citizens are tied to a keep area, which anchors them to a location in the world.

  4. Craftable spawn egg

A spawn egg made with redstone places a citizen anywhere, so players are not limited to generated towns.
