Fabroxy is a Fabric server-side mod that lets a Minecraft server accept connections from a Velocity, BungeeCord or Waterfall proxy.

What it does

Fabroxy implements player information forwarding for Minecraft servers behind a proxy. A proxy such as Velocity, BungeeCord or Waterfall accepts player connections and passes them to the backend server, and the mod lets that backend read the forwarded player data. Its behavior is set in the velocity.toml file, where the player-info-forwarding-mode option is changed to modern and saved.

Because only the server runs Fabroxy, players join through the proxy without installing anything. The mod requires Fabric API and runs on Fabric Loader. Builds exist for 1.19 – 1.19.4, and the latest file, 1.1.0, targets 1.19.4 and was published on 2023-04-02. The code is under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.
