Fabric API MCP Server

by chapmanjw

Fabric API MCP Server lets an AI assistant read and change a live Minecraft world through the Model Context Protocol, from inside the game.

FabricClient or server, optionalMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.11 – 26.2

What it does

The mod runs a Model Context Protocol server inside a Minecraft Java Edition game on Fabric. It exposes server-side Minecraft and Fabric API operations as MCP tools, so MCP clients such as Claude Desktop or Cursor can inspect and manipulate the world programmatically while it is running. Installation needs Fabric API. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. Published for 1.21.11 – 26.2 with a latest file for 26.2, and released under the MIT License as open source.

  2. Fabric API tools

  3. Accompanying plugin

A plugin for Claude Code is available alongside the mod for use with that client.
