Explodee
by Knownser
With Explodee installed on a server, explosions from TNT and creepers spread in a sphere, following a shape different from vanilla.
What it does
Explodee changes how Minecraft's explosion algorithm propagates. Its explosions follow vanilla rules, including the chance that neighboring TNT ignites about three blocks away, but the blast spreads spherically and looks visibly different at larger radii. Explosions read as more intense. The mod is installed on the server, so players join without installing anything. Explodee works alongside Lithium, which carries its own explosion optimizations, and it runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.19 – 26.3.
Key features
Spherical propagation
The explosion algorithm spreads the blast in a sphere rather than the vanilla pattern.
Vanilla-compatible rules
Explosions keep vanilla behavior, including neighboring TNT igniting up to three blocks away.
Larger visual blasts
At larger radii the explosion looks visibly different, with a more intense result.

What the author says
Note: Explodee explosions do not work exactly like vanilla explosions (i.e. there is a possibility that some neighboring TNT may not ignite if it is 3 blocks away). Explodee explosions are also visually very different, especially at larger explosion radii. Explodee works with Lithium (taking advantage of its…
