EurekaCraft adds flying Ref Boards, glide-capable boards that players craft once and then use to travel through the air.
What it does
Ref Boards are crafted once a player has found their Blueprints, which are discovered in abandoned shacks that spawn in the world. Once crafted, a board lets the player glide and lift off through the air. The mod is inspired by the hang-glider objects of the Eureka Seven anime series and by OpenBlocks.
Lift and flight depend on the weather. A player has to encounter a TRAPAR cloud or storm and board it to gain height, and the clouds and storms are only visible to a player wearing Scub Goggles. Advancement progress is tracked through the advancement tree that Just Enough Items (JEI) makes navigable, which is a required dependency. In-game guidebooks are included to explain the content.
EurekaCraft runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and cover 1.18.2 and 1.19.2, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
