ETERNULL
Players who want a darker overworld can use ETERNULL, a NeoForge mod from Renasca Studios that adds a corruption biome, corrupted mobs and a boss creature.
What it does
The mod adds a new overworld biome shaped by Corruption. The biome spreads slowly over time, so areas near it become more dangerous the longer they are left alone. Corrupted variants of zombies, spiders and creepers spawn inside it, and their drops can be crafted into Dark Cores. A boss creature drawn from a well-known creepypasta can be hunted in the biome; it does not hunt the player back, and killing it awards Nullite.
Corrupted mobs inflict the wither effect and, through a darkness effect tied to Corruption, change how the biome feels to explore. The mod also adds a Dark Wood variant for building. ETERNULL is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published only for NeoForge 1.20.4, with the latest file 1.2.0 dated 2024-06-25, and it is released under All rights reserved.
