Enhanced Threshold Switch

The mod adds a way for a threshold switch to read a mechanical bearing directly. The bearing stores its angle in NBT data, which lets a switch observe that value and trigger on it, rather than relying only on redstone contacts placed outside the bearing. Readings from those outside contacts are described by the author as less accurate and unreliable.

The update rate of a connected threshold switch is increased, and the bearing is sampled once every 10 ticks. The author notes that this interval represents the bearing's position closely at lower speeds, while at higher speeds the readings become choppy and some changes can be skipped. Connection ranges under 25 percent are listed as a working case.

Installation needs Create and Create Fabric. The mod runs on the server side only, so players join without installing it. Files are published for Fabric and Forge, for 1.20.1, under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
