Ence size
by ence
Ence size lets a player change the in-game aspect ratio while playing, using a slider and a side panel on the right edge of the screen.
What it does
Ence size is a client-side Fabric mod for changing the aspect ratio of the game view during play. A slider sets the ratio with fine steps, and a glassmorphic dark control panel slides in from the right edge to hold it. Opening and closing that panel, and moving between ratios, uses cubic-out animations, so each change feels smooth rather than abrupt. Custom stretched resolutions are handled in the same interface.
The mod suits players who want to preview how a build looks in ultrawide framing or to simulate a cinematic camera before a screenshot or video. Only the client needs it, so servers run without it and players can use it on any server while playing single-player or multiplayer. Ence size requires Fabric API, which must be installed alongside it. It is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source. Files are published for Fabric and target 1.21.11 only, with version 1.0.0 dated 2026-06-27 as the latest build.

Common ratios can be selected instantly, from ultrawide cinematic framing to a plain square view and older stretched layouts.
Animated transitions
Changing ratios and opening or closing the panel use cubic-out animations for a fluid motion.
