Easy Auto Restart

by LasaJoniHD

Easy Auto Restart lets a server owner schedule restarts of a Fabric Minecraft server, with a one-minute countdown and commands to add or cancel restart times.

FabricServer-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.11 – 26.3

What it does

Operators can add a daily restart time, for example at 04:00, and the server starts a restart sequence when that time arrives. Before the server stops, a one-minute countdown runs and the configured restart script is triggered, so the server stops and is brought back by the script. A running countdown can be cancelled from the same command set.

The mod is built around one job: managing restarts and executing the start script when the server stops. It is lightweight and does not add gameplay content, and it needs only Fabric API to run. Only the server needs it, and players join without installing anything. Files are published for 1.21.11 and 26.3, with 1.0 for 26.3 as the latest file, covering 1.21.11 – 26.3 in four release versions.

Fabric API is required and must be installed on the server next to Easy Auto Restart. The commands require Operator (OP) permissions, so only trusted administrators can change the schedule or cancel a countdown. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Daily restart times

A daily restart time can be added with a command, such as 04:00, and the server runs the sequence at that time each day.

  2. One-minute countdown

Before a restart, the server counts down for one minute, giving players time to finish what they are doing.

  3. Cancel a countdown

A running restart countdown can be stopped by an operator, which aborts the scheduled restart.

  4. Restart script hook

When the server stops, the restart script is triggered, so the server can be brought back automatically.
