Designer Pack
Designer Pack lets players build inside a survival world without touching its progress, using a datapack that moves a builder to a separate plot and returns them afterward.
What it does
A player types a trigger to enter a designer plot, which is a separate area used for building. The plot is set up without interfering with the survival world, and the trigger stores the designer inventory along with experience points. When the player returns to survival, the stored inventory and experience come back, with items restored to their original slots.
The pack includes five types of super flat creative worlds where builds can be designed freely. A settings menu lets an operator change the default gamemode of the main world and plots, adjust options such as visibility, and disable players from changing gamemodes inside plots through a config function. Tools include a fill command usable without operator rights, a teleport command, a generic shape filler, and a noise tool that creates variations such as flat walls.
Designer Pack must run on the server, while players may leave it out. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, across 27 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.2, under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license. The license is not open source, but public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker.
